My Exam Results Are In! 🎓📚

Hello everyone! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ It’s that time of the year again—exam results day! 📅 After weeks of studying 📖, stressing 😓, and a bit of procrastination (who doesn’t do that? 🙈), I finally got my marks back! 🎉 I wanted to share the results with you all, as it’s a moment I’ve been waiting for! 😄

Here's how I did:

  • ICT: 94/100 💻🎯 – I’m super happy with this one! 😊 It’s always nice to see that hard work pays off, especially in a subject like ICT where practical application is key. 🛠️📊
  • Math: 83/100 ➗🧮 – This was a tricky one, but I managed to pull through 💪. I know there’s always room for improvement 🏃‍♀️, and I’m already planning how to do better next time. 📈
  • English: 91/100 📚✍️ – This was a pleasant surprise! 😲 I’ve always enjoyed English, but I wasn’t expecting such a high mark. 📖 Feels great to see the effort I put into writing and literature pay off! 🎉
  • Physics: 90/100 ⚛️🔬 – Physics is one of those subjects that can really make your brain work overtime 🧠💥. But I’m glad all the late-night revisions helped me ace it! 🌙📚
  • Biology: 63/100 🧬📉 – I won’t lie, this one was a bit disappointing 😔. Biology can get pretty overwhelming with all the details 🧠🔍, and I realize I need to put in more effort here 💪 to understand the concepts better.
  • Chemistry: 78/100 🧪🧯 – I’m satisfied with this one 😊. I definitely struggled a bit with some of the more complex topics, but overall, I managed to get a decent score. 👍
  • Global Perspectives (GP): 60/70 ✍️🧠 – Not bad! 😊 There’s always room for improvement, but I’m happy with the mark. Writing essays and critical thinking were the focus, and I felt confident throughout the exam. 🙌
  • French: 88/100 🇫🇷📘 – I’m really pleased with this! 🎉 I’ve been working hard on improving my language skills 🗣️, and it’s nice to see that it’s paid off with a solid result. 👏

Reflection:

Overall, I’m really proud of my performance 🏆, even though there were some areas I definitely could have done better in. Biology, I’m looking at you! 😅 But I’ve already started planning how to improve for the next exams 📅💡. It's all part of the learning process, right? 🔄 I’m also grateful for the support of my teachers 👩‍🏫, family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and friends 💖 who encouraged me throughout the journey.

To anyone who didn’t get the results they were hoping for 😓, don’t worry—you’re not alone. 💪 Keep working hard, keep improving, and your time will come! ✨🚀

The Challenge of Switching Tennis Coaches

As I stood on the court, racket in hand, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey I've had with my current coach. After countless hours of practice, hard work, and some unforgettable moments, I've made the decision to switch coaches. It’s a choice that feels necessary but comes with its own challenges. Over time, I’ve realised that my growth has hit a bit of a plateau. I’ve been craving new techniques and fresh perspectives—something my old coach, while supportive, couldn't provide anymore. Making the decision to move on was tough, but I know it’s time to seek a different approach to improve my game. Telling my coach was difficult. They’ve put in a lot of effort to help me, and I felt a twinge of guilt in stepping away from that relationship. Still, I know it’s the right decision for my development.
